If you are in George Town, you can walk to the Penang State Gallery. Start at the iconic Komtar building, which is a central landmark. From Komtar, head north on Jalan Penang. After approximately 1 km, you will reach the junction with Jalan Lebuh Light. Continue straight on Jalan Penang for another 200 meters. The gallery is located at 452, Jalan Penang, on your right side, just before you reach Jalan Lebuh Light.
Public Bus
You can take the Rapid Penang bus service to reach the Penang State Gallery. Board bus number 201, 203, or 204 at any bus stop along the route. Get off at the 'Lebuh Light' stop. From there, walk along Jalan Penang, heading towards the south for about 300 meters. The gallery will be on your left, at 452, Jalan Penang.
Trishaw
For a unique experience, consider taking a trishaw. You can find trishaw drivers around popular areas like Little India or near the Esplanade. Just tell the driver you want to go to the Penang State Gallery at 452, Jalan Penang, and they will navigate the streets for you. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
