Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Kuala Lumpur, take the Jalan Tun Razak route. Merge onto the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) and follow the signs for Ampang. Continue straight until you reach Taman Zooview, then turn left onto Jalan Taman Zooview. The National Zoo of Malaysia will be on your right. Parking is available at the zoo, but there may be a fee of approximately RM 5. Make sure to check for any parking restrictions.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  From Kuala Lumpur, take Bus No. 300 from the Pudu Sentral bus terminal. The bus will take you straight to the Ampang area. Get off at the Taman Zooview stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the entrance of the National Zoo of Malaysia. Be prepared for a small uphill walk. The bus fare is around RM 2.50.

• Public Transportation - LRT

  Board the LRT at any station on the Ampang Line and travel towards the Terminal Putra station. Get off at the 'Cahaya' station. From there, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare (like Grab) to Taman Zooview. The distance is about 5 kilometers, and the ride will cost approximately RM 10-15. The total travel time, including the LRT ride and taxi, is around 30-45 minutes.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a direct route from your location in Selangor, you can book a taxi or use a rideshare service like Grab. Simply enter 'National Zoo of Malaysia, Jalan Taman Zooview, Taman Zooview, 68000 Ampang' as your destination. The fare will depend on your starting point, but expect it to range from RM 15 to RM 50, depending on the distance.
