Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Hulhumale Ferry Terminal, walk towards the main road, Asurumaa Hingun. Head south for approximately 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Kuredhimaa Hingun. Turn right onto Kuredhimaa Hingun and continue walking for about 200 meters. The Hulhumale Channel will be on your left.

  • Public Transport

    From Male, take the MTCC ferry to Hulhumale. Ferries depart five times a day and cost $1-4. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Upon arrival at the Hulhumale Ferry Terminal, walk towards the main road, Asurumaa Hingun, and follow the walking directions. Alternatively, take the bus from Flat No. 137 to Hulhumale Ferry Terminal. The bus costs $1 and takes 9 minutes.

  • Taxi

    From Velana International Airport, a taxi to Hulhumale Channel costs approximately MVR 80-85. The ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, a taxi from Male to Hulhumale Channel costs around MVR 85-100 and takes about 10 minutes. Taxis are readily available at both locations.
