Walking
From the center of Thulusdhoo Island, head towards the beach. Start at the main square or any local shop and walk east, following signs for the beach. The House Reef is located at approximately 9MG2+X86, a short 10-15 minute walk from the main area. Once you reach the beach, look for a clear entry point, usually marked by a sandy area.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Thulusdhoo for a quicker option. Cycle towards the eastern beach area, following the same route towards the beach. The House Reef is located at 9MG2+X86, and cycling should take around 5-10 minutes. Rental prices generally range from $5 to $10 per day. Make sure to return the bicycle by the end of the day.
Public Transport
Arriving by ferry from Malé, the ferry will dock on the west side of the island. From the ferry terminal, the house reef is approximately 15-20 minutes walk. Head east from the ferry terminal towards the east side of the island where the bikini beach is located. The House Reef is located at approximately 9MG2+X86, a short walk from the main area. Once you reach the beach, look for a clear entry point to the reef, which is usually marked by a sandy area. The local ferry from Malé costs approximately $3 per person. A taxi from the ferry terminal to the house reef is not necessary as it is within walking distance.
