Getting there

Walking

From the center of Mgarr, head towards the ferry terminal located at the waterfront. Once you reach the terminal, continue along the coast road (Triq il-Ferry) heading east. Follow the signs for Santa Marija Bay. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes, and along this route, you'll enjoy beautiful views of the harbor. Upon reaching the end of the road, you will find a path leading down to Santa Marija Bay.

Public Bus

From the main bus stop in Mgarr, take bus number 41 towards Gozo. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at the stop for Santa Marija Bay. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes, and it is a scenic route. Once you exit the bus, follow the path leading towards the beach area, and you'll arrive at Santa Marija Bay.
