Car
If you are driving from the center of Malta Ridge, start by heading west on Triq Sant' Anton towards Triq Bormla. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit to stay on Triq Bormla, and after another 1 kilometer, turn left onto Triq Mesquita. Follow this road until you reach the Mdina fortress. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that it may incur a fee of around €1.50 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Despuig Bastion via public transportation, first find the nearest bus stop in Malta Ridge. Take bus number 51 or 52 towards Valletta. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'Mdina' stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the Mdina fortress. Head towards Triq Mesquita, and you will see the fortress entrance. The bus fare is approximately €1.50.
