Getting There

Walking
From the center of Mellieħa, head towards the Mellieħa Bay area. Start at the Mellieħa Church, a prominent landmark. From the church, walk down Triq Il-Knisja (Church Street) towards the bay. Continue straight until you reach the beach area. Here, you will find signs indicating the coastal path to the Blue Hole. Follow the path along the coastline, enjoying the sea views. The walk is approximately 30 minutes and will lead you to the Blue Hole, which is located to the west of Mellieħa Bay.

Public Transport
Take bus number 101 or 102 from Mellieħa's main bus stop, located near the church. Both buses head towards the nearby village of Ghadira. Get off at the Ghadira bus stop. From there, walk towards the beach and follow the signs leading to the coastal path towards the Blue Hole. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes, and the walk to the Blue Hole from the bus stop is an additional 15 minutes.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Mellieħa Church and head towards Triq Il-Knisja. Follow the road towards the beachfront area. There are bike paths along Mellieħa Bay that lead directly to the coastal path. The ride should take around 20 minutes, and you can lock your bike at the designated bike racks near the Blue Hole.
