From Mgarr ix-Xini, head southeast on Triq il-Kanun toward Triq il-Qammieh. Continue straight to merge onto Triq il-Limiti. Follow the road until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit to stay on Triq il-Limiti. Continue on Triq il-Limiti until you reach another roundabout. Take the first exit onto Triq il-Hamrija. Follow this road until you reach Xaghra. Look for signs directing you to Xerri's Grotto, which will be on your right. There is usually a small parking area available nearby.

From Mgarr ix-Xini, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the main road. Take bus route 312 towards Xaghra. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Xaghra, disembark at the stop closest to the village center. From there, you can walk to Xerri's Grotto, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs to Xerri's Grotto, which will lead you through the village and to the attraction.
