Walking
From the center of Mgarr, head towards the main road, Triq il-Knisja. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Triq il-Papa Piju XII. Turn right onto Triq il-Papa Piju XII and continue walking. After about 500 meters, you will reach the junction where you can see signs for the hiking trails. Follow the signs towards Qala tal-Mgarr. The trail is well-marked and will lead you through scenic views. Continue on this path for approximately 1 kilometer until you arrive at Qala tal-Mgarr.
Public Transport
From Mgarr, you can take a local bus from the Mgarr bus stop. Look for bus number 41, which goes towards Rabat. Get off at the stop after the bus enters the countryside (check the bus schedule for exact stops). Once you get off, you can follow the walking path that leads directly to Qala tal-Mgarr, approximately 500 meters away. Make sure to pay attention to the directional signs on the trail.
