    From the center of Mgarr, head towards the Mgarr Harbour and take the scenic route along the coastline. Follow the path leading to the main road. Once you reach the main road, continue straight until you see a sign for Triq il-Pwales, which will be on your left. Turn left onto Triq il-Pwales and continue walking through the residential area until you reach the Simar Nature Reserve, located at Triq il-Pwales Xemxija, San Pawl il-Baħar, SPB 4013. The total walking distance is approximately 2.5 km and should take around 30-40 minutes.

    From Mgarr, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Mgarr Terminal. Take bus number 221 towards St. Paul's Bay and get off at the 'Xemxija' stop. After getting off, walk along Triq il-Pwales for about 10 minutes, and you will reach the Simar Nature Reserve located at Triq il-Pwales Xemxija, San Pawl il-Baħar, SPB 4013. The total journey time should take about 20-30 minutes including waiting time for the bus.
