    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Mgarr, head towards the Mgarr Harbour. You can follow the signs for the ferry terminal. Once you reach the harbour area, look for the bus stop near the ferry terminal. From there, take Bus Route 41 or 42 towards Victoria. It takes approximately 15-20 minutes to reach Victoria. Get off the bus at Victoria (Rabat) bus station. Then, transfer to Bus Route 301 or 302 towards Xaghra. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Xaghra bus stop near the main square (Pjazza Indipendenza). From the square, walk straight along Triq il-Knisja, heading east. Continue for about 10 minutes until you reach Xerri's Grotto, which will be on your right side.

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can walk from Mgarr to Xaghra. From the center of Mgarr, head towards Triq il-Ħarrub, which will lead you out of the village. Follow the road for about 2.5 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views. As you approach Xaghra, continue straight until you arrive at the junction with Triq il-Knisja. Turn right onto Triq il-Knisja, and you will see Xerri's Grotto a short distance ahead on your left.
