    From the Mgarr ferry terminal, head southeast towards the main road (Triq Il-Papa Ġwanni Pawlu II). It’s about a 15-minute walk. Follow the road until you reach the intersection with Triq Il-Kbira. Turn left onto Triq Il-Kbira, and you will see Independence Square ahead on your right, just a few minutes away.

    From Mgarr, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the ferry terminal. Take bus route 41 towards Victoria. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Victoria' bus stop, and from there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Independence Square. Head east on Triq Il-Papa Ġwanni Pawlu II, and you will find the square on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one in Mgarr. Start at the Mgarr ferry terminal and cycle southeast towards Triq Il-Papa Ġwanni Pawlu II. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers; it should take around 10-15 minutes. Upon reaching the intersection with Triq Il-Kbira, turn left, and you will see Independence Square just ahead.
