From the center of Mgarr, head towards the main street, Triq Il-Knisja. Walk straight until you reach the junction near the church. Turn left onto Triq Il-Pitkali. Continue walking for about 2 kilometers, and you will arrive at Mercieca Reservoir, which will be on your right. The route is mostly flat, making it suitable for all tourists.
