Walking
From the center of Annapolis, start at the Maryland State House located at 100 State Circle, Annapolis, MD 21401. Head east on State Circle toward Main Street. Continue straight onto Main Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with West Street. Turn left onto West Street and walk for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the bus stop at West Street & Calvert Street. Take the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Bus 201 towards Chesapeake Beach and ride for about 40 minutes. Get off at the stop labeled 'Chesapeake Beach'. From the bus stop, walk south towards the Chesapeake Beach Railway Trail Trailhead, which is located a short 5-minute walk away.

If you prefer biking, start at the City Dock in Annapolis. Head north on the Broadneck Trail which will take you towards the B&A Trail. Follow signs for the B&A Trail heading northeast.
