From Annapolis, head to the nearest bus stop that services the Annapolis Transit. You can take the Route 70 bus towards Baltimore. Ride it to the Baltimore Arena, then transfer to the MARC Train at the Baltimore Penn Station towards Washington, DC. Get off at the Union Station stop. From Union Station, you can catch the DC Metro Red Line towards Glenmont and get off at the Farragut North station. From Farragut North, it is a short walk to Lafayette Square, which is located at Pennsylvania Ave NW & 16th St NW.

Start at the Annapolis Amtrak Station. Take a train to Washington, DC. Once you arrive at the Washington Union Station, transfer to the DC Metro.
