Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are at the Inner Harbor, you are very close to the Maryland Science Center. Start by heading south on Light Street. You can easily spot the Maryland Science Center at 601 Light St, right by the harbor. It’s just a short walk of about 10 minutes from most points in the Inner Harbor area. Look for the large building with the planetarium dome on top. You won’t miss it!

  • Public Transit (Light Rail)

    For those further away, you can take the Light RailLink. Board the Light Rail at the nearest station and head towards the 'BWI Airport' direction. Get off at the 'Baltimore Arena' stop. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk: head west on W. Baltimore St., then turn right onto S. Howard St., and finally turn left onto Light St. The Maryland Science Center will be on your right at 601 Light St. Please note that a single ride on the Light Rail costs $1.80.
