Getting There

• Walking

  If you're already in Mount Vernon, The Walters Art Museum is likely within walking distance. Begin at the Washington Monument located in the center of Mount Vernon Place. From the monument, head south on Charles Street. Continue on Charles Street for about two blocks until you reach the intersection with Centre Street. The museum will be on your left at 600 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21201.

• Public Transit (Light RailLink)

  For those preferring public transportation, you can take the Light RailLink. Find the nearest Light RailLink station, such as the Baltimore Arena stop. Board a train towards Hunt Valley. Travel for two stops and disembark at the Baltimore Arena stop. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes to the museum by heading east on E Baltimore St, then turning north on Charles St until you reach the museum. Note that a one-way fare for the Light RailLink is $1.90.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  You can also use the Baltimore Bus system. Look for the nearest bus stop and check for routes that head towards Charles Street. For example, you can take the #51 or #65 bus. Ride until you reach the stop at Charles St & Centre St. From there, walk south on Charles Street for a short distance and you will find The Walters Art Museum on your left at 600 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21201.
