Walk
From the center of Bethesda, head south on Wisconsin Avenue towards the Bethesda Metro Station. Once you reach the station, take the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont. Ride for about 20 minutes until you reach the King Street-Old Town station in Alexandria. Exit the station and walk east on King Street for about half a mile. Turn right onto S Alfred St, and you will find the Friendship Firehouse at 107 S Alfred St.

From Bethesda, walk to the nearest bus stop on Wisconsin Avenue. Take the Metrobus 30N or 30S towards the Huntington Metro Station. Ride for approximately 30-40 minutes, getting off at the King Street stop in Alexandria. From there, walk east on King Street for about half a mile. Turn right onto S Alfred St and you will arrive at the Friendship Firehouse located at 107 S Alfred St.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Bethesda. Head south on Wisconsin Avenue, then take the Capital Crescent Trail towards the Potomac River. Continue along the trail, which will take you towards Alexandria. Once you reach Old Town Alexandria, make your way to King Street and then turn left onto S Alfred St. The Friendship Firehouse is located at 107 S Alfred St.
