    From Bethesda Metro Station, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Ride for 6 stops and get off at Gallery Place-Chinatown Station. Transfer to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt. Ride for 3 stops and get off at L'Enfant Plaza Station. Exit the station and head southwest on Maryland Ave SW. Continue onto Independence Ave SW, and you will see the World War II Memorial on your left.

    From the Bethesda Transit Center, take the Metrobus route 30N towards Silver Spring. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the L'Enfant Plaza stop. From there, walk southwest on Maryland Ave SW. Continue onto Independence Ave SW, and you will reach the World War II Memorial in about 10 minutes.
