From Catoctin Mountain Park, begin by exiting the park onto Route 77 (Catoctin Mountain Park Road). Turn right onto MD-66 S (Thurmont Blvd) and continue for about 4 miles. Merge onto US-40 W (National Pike) and drive for approximately 6 miles. Then, take the exit for MD-34 S toward Boonsboro. After about 2 miles, turn right onto Shepherdstown Pike. Crystal Grottoes Caverns will be on your left at 19821 Shepherdstown Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713. Look for the entrance sign.
