Public Bus
From Columbia, you can take the Howard Transit bus route 401 toward the Ellicott City Transfer Station. Board the bus at any convenient stop along the route. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Ellicott City Transfer Station. From there, transfer to the MTA Maryland bus route 75 toward Baltimore. Stay on this bus for approximately 30-40 minutes, and disembark at the 'Pratt St & S Paca St' stop. The B&O Railroad Museum is a short walk from this stop; head east on Pratt St for about 0.3 miles until you reach 901 W Pratt St.

Train (MARC Train)
Begin your journey at the Columbia Marc Train Station. Board the MARC Train on the Penn Line heading towards Baltimore. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Baltimore Arena Station, exit the train and walk towards the street. From there, you can either take a local bus (MTA route 1 or 64) from the Arena to the B&O Railroad Museum or walk. If you choose to walk, head southwest on W Baltimore St toward S Paca St, then turn left onto S Paca St and walk until you reach Pratt St. Turn right on Pratt St, and the museum will be on your left at 901 W Pratt St.
