Board the MARC train on the Brunswick Line heading towards Washington Union Station. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Washington Union Station, exit the train and follow the signs to the Metro. Take the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont and ride until you reach the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. From there, transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington and get off at the L'Enfant Plaza station. Exit the station and walk about 0.5 miles to the DC Design Tours office, located at 500 12th St SW, Washington, DC 20560. The office will be on your right.

    Walking

    If you're already in downtown Gaithersburg, you can walk to the nearest public transit stop. Head to the bus stop at the Gaithersburg City Hall, located at 31 S Summit Ave. From there, take the Ride On Bus #55 towards the Shady Grove Metro Station. The bus will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Shady Grove Metro Station and take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Ride until you reach the Gallery Place-Chinatown station, then transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington and get off at the L'Enfant Plaza station. From L'Enfant Plaza, walk about 0.5 miles to the DC Design Tours office at 500 12th St SW, Washington, DC 20560.
