Metro
From Gaithersburg, walk to the Gaithersburg Metro Station on the Red Line. Take the train heading towards Glenmont and ride it for about 30 minutes. Get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington. Ride for another 15 minutes and get off at the King Street-Old Town station. From there, exit the station and head south on King Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach S Alfred St. Turn left onto S Alfred St, and the Friendship Firehouse will be on your right at 107 S Alfred St.

From the Gaithersburg City Hall, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Ride On Bus #55 towards the Rockville Metro Station. Ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the Rockville Metro Station. From there, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington. Ride for another 15 minutes and get off at the King Street-Old Town station. Exit the station, walk south on King Street for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto S Alfred St. The Friendship Firehouse will be on your right at 107 S Alfred St.
