Public Bus
From the Gaithersburg City Hall, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 31 S Summit Ave. Take the Ride On Bus Route 55 towards the Shady Grove Metro Station. Stay on the bus for about 10 stops, approximately 20 minutes, and get off at the stop named 'Desellum Ave & Tschiffely Square Rd'. From there, walk north on Desellum Ave for about 5 minutes until you reach the International Latitude Observatory at 100 Desellum Ave. The observatory will be on your left.

If you're renting a bike, start at the Kentlands area. Head southeast on Great Seneca Highway, then turn right onto Tschiffely Square Rd. Follow Tschiffely Square until you reach Desellum Ave. Turn left onto Desellum Ave and continue for about 0.5 miles. The International Latitude Observatory will be on your right at 100 Desellum Ave. Make sure to follow bike lanes where available for a safer ride.
