If you're in downtown Hagerstown, start at the Hagerstown City Park. From the park, head east on Oak Hill Avenue towards North Potomac Street. Turn right onto North Potomac Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with East Washington Street. Turn left onto East Washington Street and walk straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Hagerstown Transit bus terminal. At the terminal, catch a bus heading to Gettysburg. The bus ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Gettysburg, disembark at the Gettysburg Transit Center. From there, walk south on Baltimore Pike for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach the National Park Service Museum and Visitor Center, located at 1195 Baltimore Pike.
