From Rocky Gap State Park, head southwest on Lake Shore Drive toward the main entrance. Continue straight to merge onto I-68 W. After approximately 4 miles, take exit 64 for US-220 S toward Oldtown. Follow US-220 S for about 10 miles until you reach the town of Oldtown. Once in Oldtown, look for signs directing you to C&O Canal Lock 71, which is located off of Lock 71 Road. The lock area has parking available.
