Start by exiting Swallow Falls State Park and turn onto State Park Road. Drive south for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Maryland Route 219. Turn left onto Route 219 and continue for approximately 4 miles. After passing through the small town of Swanton, turn right onto Glendale Road (also known as MD-495). Follow Glendale Road for about 2 miles until you reach the entrance to Deep Creek Lake State Park at 898 State Park Rd, Swanton, MD 21561. There is a parking fee of $3 for Maryland residents and $5 for non-residents.
