Walking
From the center of Charlestown, head towards the Charlestown Bridge. Follow the signs directing you towards the Navy Yard. Once you cross the bridge, continue straight on 1st Ave. The Charlestown Navy Yard will be on your left at the intersection of 1st Ave and 3rd St. This is a pleasant walk of about 15 minutes, approximately 0.7 miles.

Public Transportation (Bus)
If you prefer taking public transportation, you can catch the MBTA bus number 93 from the Sullivan Square bus stop. Board the bus towards the Charlestown Navy Yard. The fare is $2.40 (exact change required or use a CharlieCard). Get off at the 'Charlestown Navy Yard' stop. From there, it's just a short walk to the entrance of the Navy Yard.
