Turn left onto Merrimac Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 South. Continue for about 4 miles, then take the exit towards Newbury. Follow signs for Newbury Salt Marsh. Once you are on Newbury Road, continue until you reach the marsh area. Parking is available nearby.

From Newburyport's Central Station, take the MBTA commuter rail towards Boston. Get off at the West Newbury stop. From there, you can catch a local bus (Bus 54) towards Newbury. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as they may not run frequently. Once you arrive in Newbury, you can walk to Newbury Salt Marsh, which is approximately 1 mile away. Follow Main Street east until you reach the marsh area.
