Car
From the center of Chinguetti, head south on Avenue de la République. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. At the fork, take the right road that leads you towards the outskirts of Chinguetti. Drive for another 2 kilometers, and you'll see a sign indicating 'Talkout' to your left. The botanical garden is located about 500 meters off the main road, so prepare to turn left and follow the path until you arrive at the entrance.

Public Transportation
From the central market in Chinguetti, look for a shared taxi (taxi brousse) heading towards the outskirts of the city. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'Talkout'. The fare should be around 500 MRU (Mauritian Ouguiya). The taxi will drop you off at the nearest point to Talkout, which is about 1 kilometer away from the entrance. From there, you can either walk or arrange for a local guide to take you directly to the entrance.

If you are already near the central area of Chinguetti, you can choose to walk to Talkout. Start from the central market and head south on Avenue de la République. Continue walking for about 20 minutes until you reach the fork in the road. Take the right path and walk for another 30 minutes until you see a sign for Talkout. The botanical garden will be approximately 500 meters off the main road, accessible by a small trail.
