Walking
Start from the central area of Nouakchott, specifically at the Place de l'Indépendance. Head southwest towards Avenue Moussa Tavele. Continue straight for about 1 km, passing by local shops and cafes. You will eventually reach the intersection with Avenue Ahmed Taleb. Turn left and walk for another 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. From the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de la République. Continue straight for approximately 1.2 km, and you will see signs directing you towards the waterfront. Follow these signs until you arrive at İskele Dock, which is located near coordinates 2XPF+845.
Public Bus
Begin at the nearest bus stop in the city center, such as the one at Place de l'Indépendance. Look for bus number 15 or 20, which heads towards the coastal area. Board the bus and pay the fare, which is usually around 100 Ouguiya. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and listen for announcements or watch for stops. Disembark at the stop closest to the waterfront. From there, walk north towards the water for about 10 minutes until you reach İskele Dock at 2XPF+845.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Place de l'Indépendance. Head southwest onto Avenue Moussa Tavele and cycle straight for about 1 km. When you reach the intersection with Avenue Ahmed Taleb, turn left. Continue cycling for approximately 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de la République. Cycle straight for about 1.2 km, following signs to the waterfront. Finally, park your bicycle and walk the last few meters to İskele Dock at the coordinates 2XPF+845.
