Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're already in Belle Mare, start from the Belle Mare Beachfront. Head east along the beach towards Quatre Cocos. As you walk, you will see the beautiful coastline. After about 10-15 minutes, you will reach a pathway that leads you to the main road, B59. Cross the road carefully, and the entrance to Belle Mare Public Beach will be just ahead on your left.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Belle Mare. Start your ride along the coastal road heading southeast toward Quatre Cocos. Follow the signs directing you towards B59. Once you reach B59, turn left and continue riding for about 5 minutes. Belle Mare Public Beach will be on your right side, marked by a clear entrance.

    From Belle Mare, walk to the nearest bus stop which is usually located near the main road. Look for buses heading towards Quatre Cocos or Flacq. Board any bus that passes by and inform the driver you want to get off at Belle Mare Public Beach. After a short ride, you will be dropped off near the entrance to the beach.
