Getting there

Walking

From the center of Belle Mare, head south on the coastal road (Coastal Road) towards the village of Trou d'Eau Douce. Continue straight for about 8 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and restaurants along the way, which can be great for a quick stop. As you approach the town of Souillac, look out for signs directing you to Gris Gris Beach. Once in Souillac, follow the signs to Gris Gris Beach, which is located just off the coastal road. The beach is easily accessible on foot from the parking area.

From Belle Mare, make your way to the nearest bus stop located on the main Coastal Road. Take a bus heading towards Souillac. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at Gris Gris Beach. As you approach the beach, you will see signs indicating the stop. Once you get off the bus, follow the footpath leading directly to the beach.

Bicycle

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Belle Mare. Start by heading south on the Coastal Road. The bike ride to Gris Gris Beach will take about 30 minutes. Make sure to stay on the road and be mindful of vehicles. You will pass through beautiful scenery and several small villages. Follow the signs to Gris Gris Beach once you reach Souillac.
