Walking
From the center of Chamarel, head southeast towards the main road. Walk along the main road (Route C3) until you reach the intersection with Route A10. Continue walking straight until you reach the village of Souillac. Once in Souillac, follow the signs towards Gris Gris Beach. It will be approximately a 4 km walk, which should take about 50 minutes to an hour. The beach is located close to the coast, so keep following the signs until you see the beautiful views of the ocean.
Public Bus
From Chamarel, walk to the nearest bus stop on Route C3. Board a bus heading towards Souillac. The journey will take around 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Souillac, disembark at the main bus station. From there, you can either walk towards Gris Gris Beach, which is about 1.5 km away, or ask locals for directions to the beach. The walk should take about 20 minutes.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Chamarel. Head southeast towards Route C3 and continue onto Route A10 towards Souillac. The distance is around 5 km, and it should take you approximately 25-30 minutes to reach Gris Gris Beach. Make sure to follow the signs and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
