Getting There

  • Walking

    From Le Morne Public Beach, head southeast along the coast towards the Le Morne Brabant Mountain. Follow the coastal path until you reach the fork in the road at the base of the mountain. At the fork, take the right path and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route Coastal. Here, continue walking straight until you see signs for Coteau Raffin. Follow the signs, and after a short walk, you will arrive at the ADD Coteau Raffin Mangrove Eco-system. The entire journey should take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Le Morne Public Beach and ride along the coastal road towards the south. After about 2 km, you will reach the fork in the road at the base of Le Morne Brabant Mountain. Take the right path at the fork, continue on the road until you reach Route Coastal. Turn right onto Route Coastal and follow the signs towards Coteau Raffin. The mangrove eco-system is located a short distance ahead on your left. This ride should take around 15-20 minutes.

    Take a local bus from Le Morne to Coteau Raffin. The bus stop is located near the Le Morne Public Beach. Board any bus heading towards Coteau Raffin and inform the driver that you wish to get off at the mangrove eco-system. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the entrance of the ADD Coteau Raffin Mangrove Eco-system.
