Getting There

Walking
Start your journey at the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden, which is a well-known landmark in Pamplemousses. Exit the garden and head south on the Royal Road. Keep walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the Route A1. At this junction, turn right onto the Route A1. Continue walking for approximately 500 meters until you reach the bus stop near the waterfront. From there, you will need to take a local bus heading to Port Louis. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the Waterfront Underpass. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the waterfront area and follow the signs to the Windmill Museum, which should be a short walk from the bus stop.

If you have a bicycle, you can start from the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden. Exit the garden and head south on the Royal Road. Follow the road straight for about 1 kilometer, then make a right turn onto the Route A1. Continue cycling for about 500 meters until you reach the bus stop near the waterfront. From there, you will find signs directing you to the Windmill Museum along the waterfront area. The bike ride should take around 15-20 minutes.
