If you are in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, head to the main bus terminal (Terminal de Autobuses). Purchase a ticket for San Cristóbal de las Casas, which is a common route. The bus ride takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arrival at the San Cristóbal de las Casas bus terminal, exit the terminal and follow the main road (Avenida 16 de Septiembre) towards the city center. Continue walking straight for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the central plaza.

Shared Taxi (Colectivo)
From Tuxtla Gutiérrez, go to the designated area for shared taxis (colectivos) near the bus terminal. Look for a colectivo heading to San Cristóbal de las Casas. The ride is generally faster, taking around 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive, the colectivos will drop you off at the central plaza. Walk from the plaza to Plaza 31 de Marzo Norte, where the cathedral is located.

Head towards the northeast corner of the plaza, then turn left onto Calle 5 de Febrero. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Ignacio Allende.
