Once you arrive in San Cristóbal, go to the local terminal (Terminal de Autobuses for local buses) and take a bus to the town of Comitán. The journey to Comitán will take around 1 hour. From Comitán, head to the main bus terminal and find a bus to Laguna de Montebello. This last leg takes about 40 minutes.
