Getting There

• Car

  To reach Cabo Pulmo National Park by car from Los Cabos, start on the Transpeninsular Highway (Highway 1) heading northeast. The journey is approximately 60 kilometers and takes around 1 to 1.5 hours. Follow these steps: 1. Depart from San Jose del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas and get onto Highway 1. 2. Continue on Highway 1 for about 45 kilometers. 3. Look for the signs for Cabo Pulmo and take the exit onto Route 1D (Cabo Pulmo road). 4. Drive for about 15 kilometers on this road until you reach the entrance of Cabo Pulmo National Park. Note that there is an entrance fee of approximately $10 USD per vehicle.

  If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Los Cabos to La Ribera. 1. Board a bus from the main terminal in either San Jose del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas heading to La Ribera.
