Getting There

• Public Transport

  From the Monterrey city center, you can take Metro Line 2 (the blue line) towards the 'Eugenio Garza Sada' station. Get off at 'General Anaya' station. From there, exit the station and catch a local bus to 'Colonia Miguel Hidalgo'. Look for buses with signs that say 'Miguel Hidalgo' or ask the driver for assistance. Once you arrive in Colonia Miguel Hidalgo, ask locals for directions to Cerro del Chupón, which is a well-known hiking area in the neighborhood. It's approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to the entrance of the park.

• Walking

  If you are staying close to the area or prefer to walk, you can navigate your way to Cerro del Chupón from the nearest Metro station, 'General Anaya'. Exit the station and head east on 'Calle de Los Héroes'. Continue straight until you reach 'Calle de Miguel Hidalgo', then turn left. Follow this street until you see signs leading to 'Cerro del Chupón'. The entrance to the park is a bit steep, so be prepared for a short uphill walk.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider using a taxi or rideshare service like Uber. Simply enter 'Cerro del Chupón, Colonia Miguel Hidalgo, Monterrey' as your destination in the app. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the park. This option is recommended if you are traveling in a group or carrying hiking gear.
