Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Zócalo (the main square in Puebla), exit the square facing the Cathedral. Walk towards the right side of the Cathedral along Calle 16 de Septiembre for about 4 blocks until you reach Av 5 Ote. Turn left onto Av 5 Ote and walk for about 2 blocks. The Biblioteca Palafoxiana will be on your right at Av 5 Ote 5.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Zócalo, look for the bus stop near the Cathedral. Take any bus that goes towards the Historic Centre. Ask the driver to let you off at the Biblioteca Palafoxiana stop or the closest stop, which is Av 2 Nte. From the bus stop, walk down Av 2 Nte towards the main square, then turn left onto Av 5 Ote and walk for about 3 blocks. The library will be on your left at Av 5 Ote 5.
