Getting There

• Public Bus

  To get to UTC ICE, start by finding the nearest bus stop. If you're in downtown Tijuana, walk to the 'Central de Autobuses' bus station. From there, board the bus heading towards the border crossing (San Ysidro). After crossing the border, you will enter San Diego. Look for the bus routes that go to La Jolla or University City. Specifically, you can take the 'Route 30' bus from the 'San Diego Trolley' station at 'San Ysidro' and ride until you reach the 'UTC' stop. From the bus stop, walk west on La Jolla Village Drive for about 5 minutes until you reach 4545 La Jolla Village Dr, where UTC ICE is located.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use rideshare services like Uber or Lyft. From your location in Tijuana, head to the nearest taxi stand or open the rideshare app on your smartphone. Enter 'UTC ICE, 4545 La Jolla Village Dr, San Diego, CA 92122' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the ice skating rink. Make sure to confirm the driver's details before getting in.

• Walking (from the border)

  If you enjoy walking and are up for the challenge, you can walk from the San Ysidro border to UTC ICE. After crossing the border into San Diego, continue straight on the 'Camino de la Plaza' until you reach 'San Ysidro Blvd'. Take a left and walk until you reach 'Beyer Blvd'. From 'Beyer Blvd', head north until you hit 'La Jolla Village Dr'. Turn right, and after approximately 1.5 miles of walking, UTC ICE will be on your left at 4545 La Jolla Village Dr. This route is approximately 3 miles and could take around 1 hour to walk.
