Bicycle
If you're in Tulum town, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops available. Head south on Avenida Tulum until you reach the intersection with Avenida Coba. Continue straight on Avenida Coba, heading east. After about 5 km, you will see signs for Laguna de Kaan Luum. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the entrance, which is on your right.
Collective Taxi (Colectivo)
From the center of Tulum, head to the colectivo station located on Avenida Tulum. Look for colectivos heading to 'Coba' and get in one. The driver will drop you off at the entrance to Laguna de Kaan Luum in approximately 15-20 minutes. Make sure to tell the driver your destination before you leave.
Walking
If you're up for a walk, start from the town center of Tulum. Head south on Avenida Tulum, then turn east on Avenida Coba. Continue on this road for about 5 km. While it is a long walk (approximately 1.5 to 2 hours), you will enjoy the sights along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Laguna de Kaan Luum as you approach.
