Getting There

• Walking

  If you are staying in Tulum town, start at the main square (Plaza Principal). From there, head south on Avenida Tulum until you reach the intersection with Highway 307. Cross the highway and continue walking straight on Avenida Tulum until you reach the beach area. Once you arrive at the beach (approximately a 30-minute walk), turn right and follow the beach road (QROO 15) until you see the Tulum Wooden Sculpture by Daniel Popper, which is located directly on the beach. The sculpture is a large wooden figure, hard to miss!

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Tulum town. Once you have your bike, head south on Avenida Tulum towards the beach area. Continue straight until you reach Highway 307, then cross the highway carefully. After crossing, continue on Avenida Tulum until you reach the beach. It’s about a 15-minute ride from the town center. Upon reaching the beach, turn right on QROO 15, and bike along the beach road until you see the Tulum Wooden Sculpture by Daniel Popper.

  If you prefer a taxi, you can hail one from anywhere in Tulum. When you get into the taxi, tell the driver to take you to 'QROO 15, Tulum Beach.'
