Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from downtown Ann Arbor, head east on E Huron St toward S Main St. Continue straight until you reach S Division St. Turn left onto S Division St and walk north until you reach Washtenaw Ave. Cross Washtenaw Ave carefully, and you will find George Washington Park (The Rock) at the intersection of Washtenaw Ave and Hill St. The park is located on your left.

    From the downtown area, locate the nearest bus stop for TheRide bus service. Take either the #2 or #3 bus heading east. Get off at the stop at Washtenaw Ave and Hill St. Once you get off the bus, George Washington Park (The Rock) will be right at the intersection; just cross to the park side of the street.

    If you prefer to bike, head towards the nearest bike lane. From downtown, you can take the bike path along the Huron River, then head east on Washtenaw Ave. Follow Washtenaw Ave until you reach the intersection with Hill St. George Washington Park (The Rock) will be on your right as you approach the intersection.
