Getting There

• Bus

Head southeast towards the Detroit Riverwalk and follow it along the river until you reach the entrance to Belle Isle Park.   For those who enjoy walking, you can walk from downtown Detroit to Belle Isle Park. Start by heading southeast towards the Detroit Riverwalk. Walk along the river until you reach the MacArthur Bridge, which connects to Belle Isle. Cross the bridge into the park and follow the paths towards the aquarium located at 3 Inselruhe Ave. The walk may take about 1 hour, depending on your pace.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a quicker option, consider taking a taxi or a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply enter 'Belle Isle Aquarium, 3 Inselruhe Ave, Detroit, MI 48207' as your destination in the app. The drivers are familiar with the area and will drop you off right at the aquarium entrance.
