Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you're in downtown Holland, head to the nearest bus stop for The Macatawa Area Express (MAX) public transit system. You can catch the MAX Route 1 bus, which operates regularly. Board the bus heading towards the Northside. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the Quincy St. & 128th Ave. stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles east along Quincy St. to reach Veldheer Tulip Gardens, located at 12755 Quincy St.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Holland. Head north on River Ave., then take a left onto 16th St. Continue until you reach Washington Ave. and turn right. Follow Washington Ave. until you reach Quincy St., then turn left. Veldheer Tulip Gardens will be on your right after about a mile. The total bike ride is approximately 3 miles and should take about 15-20 minutes.

• Walking

  For those who wish to walk, start in the downtown area of Holland and head north on River Ave. After about 1 mile, turn left onto 16th St. Walk for another half mile until you reach Washington Ave., then turn right. Follow Washington Ave. for about 1 mile until you reach Quincy St. Turn left onto Quincy St., and Veldheer Tulip Gardens will be on your right in about 0.5 miles. This walk will take approximately 1 hour and covers about 3 miles.
