Car
If you're driving from Traverse City, head north on US-31 N for about 22 miles. After reaching Northport, turn right onto N Lighthouse Point Rd. Continue on this road for 3 miles until you reach Leelanau State Park at 15310 N Lighthouse Point Rd, Northport, MI 49670. There are no tolls on this route.

Coming from the Mackinac Bridge, take I-75 S for about 30 miles. Merge onto M-72 W toward Empire and continue for about 30 miles. Once in Empire, turn left onto M-22 S and follow it for approximately 12 miles. Turn left onto N Lighthouse Point Rd and continue for 3 miles to Leelanau State Park. This route does not have tolls.

If you are using public transit, take the Greyhound bus to Traverse City. From there, use the local Bay Area Transportation Authority (BATA) shuttle service to Northport. Once in Northport, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Leelanau State Park, as public transportation does not extend directly to the park. The taxi fare may vary, so be sure to confirm the rate beforehand.
