From downtown Traverse City, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Bay Area Transportation Authority (BATA) route. Take the BATA route that heads towards the Peninsula area. You may need to transfer to a different bus depending on your starting point. Make sure to ask the driver where to get off for Center Road. Once you reach the stop, walk south on Center Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach Chateau Grand Traverse at 12239 Center Rd.
