From the center of Colonia, walk towards the Yap State Museum, which is a well-known landmark. Once you reach the museum, continue walking towards the ocean until you reach the main road. Take a left on the main road and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and a few residential areas. Keep an eye out for directional signs that point towards Gilyal Beach Park. As you approach the Kanif area, look for G3CG+GW4 on your right side. The park entrance is marked and is directly accessible from the main road.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from Colonia and head towards the Yap State Museum. From there, continue along the main road, taking a left when you reach the ocean. The ride to Gilyal Beach Park is approximately 1.5 kilometers. Make sure to keep a safe distance from the road traffic, and watch for signs indicating Gilyal Beach Park as you approach the Kanif area. The park entrance will be on your right side.
